Ninos De La Luz

Niños de la Luz is dedicated to reaching the street children of Latin America for Christ.  NDLL offers these children much more than just an alternative to the streets.  They offer them hope, restoration and love through family, education and discipleship.

The boys are given a place to live,  not in a cold institutional environment, but in a real home with loving parents. From the beginning, it has been the desire of Niños de la Luz to provide a genuine, caring, family setting for the children that God entrusts to them.     The homes are kept small in order to maintain a close knit family environment.

Most of these boys have never been in a healthy home environment, but within this strong Christian community they have the opportunity to be all that God means for them to be.  The desire of the Ranch staff is to meet not only the physical needs of the boys, but to introduce them to Jesus as the savior, friend, and father. There are currently homes in two locations:

 Venezuela
El Faro (The Lighthouse)
 Dominican Republic
La Baliza (The Beacon)

The Lighthouse Ranch near Caracas is a 12 acre property with three family style homes for former street kids.  In addition to the Ranch, Casa de Paso Halfway House in the heart of Caracas provides a place to receive kids from street, apartments for older boys transitioning into adult life, and offices for administration and counseling.
The La Baliza Ranch in the Dominican Republic is home to three distinct ministries:  La Villa Solana Home, a long term family style home for former street kids; the Life Navigation School, for adolescents leaving institutionalized care; and the Escuelita Elementary School, providing education for children of the community, as well as the boys who are in the care of Niños de la Luz.
