Venezuela Niños de la Luz Trip February 2011
In February 2011
a team of thirteen people traveled to Caracas, Venezuela to serve the people of Niños de La Luz (Children of the Light). This is a marvelous organization made up of people who have responded to God's call to save boys from a life on the streets of Caracas.
Three of us spent a week at their halfway house in the heart of Caracas, "Casa de Paso", doing some much needed renovations. Then we were joined by ten more people and spent the next week at "The Lighthouse Ranch" roofing a house and spending time with the boys living there.
This is our eighth year taking teams to the Ranch. We love this ministry, the staff and boys, and the work that God is doing there!
