Lesson Summary:
God pursues a continuing love relationship with us that is real and personal. A love relationship with God means we need to Know Him, Love Him, Believe in Him, Trust Him, and Obey Him.
Challenge for the week:
? Family Project: “Love Letters to God”
Materials: Jar or box (something to keep things in)
Decorations (glitter, markers, stickers)
How to Make: Together as a family, decorate your jar. Sit down and have each member write a “Love Letter to God.” This letter should include why and how much you love God. Put all your letters in your jar. Each week you could add to your jar as a family.
? Read Verses: Matthew 22:37-38, 1 John 4:8-19; 1 John 5:2-3; and 1 Corinthians 13.
Discuss how God loves us and pursues us
? Discuss with family the five fill-ins taught in “Big Church” this Sunday
