Middle School Ministries' at Faith Community Church:

May 2013 Teaching Series "I Wish":

We all have regrets—decisions we wish we could take back. And sometimes we also get the chance to realize the benefits of a good decision. So what makes the difference between the two? And what does Jesus have to say that can help us have less “I wish I had” moments and more “I’m glad I did” ones?  The bottom line is this: obeying Jesus isn’t just spiritual—it’s smart. But how do we actually live those words out? Maybe the secret ingredient to living a life with more “I’m glad I did” moments is less about us and more about listening—to other people. Because when we listen, we learn. And when we listen to wise people, we learn to live wisely.

What Exactly is Middle School Elevate & What Can I Expect?

Even wonder the importance of 'context' when it comes to an environment where you and your student(s) could thrive in an setting designed just for them?! For nearly a decade, Middle School Elevate continues to exist as the 'prime' location for Middle School students in the Waupaca area to witness an atmosphere where Biblically-sound Student Ministry takes place.

Here at Elevate, our vision is simple yet strategic in its' approach. Investment = Impact. By implementing a 'student-led' ministry, students in turn gain ownership of the vision, thereby allowing space in which to properly evaluate goals and meet the needs of the ever-growing culture around them. By existing as 'student-lead' Elevate is also 'leader-coached' allowing students to be mentored & equipped along the path to growth and spiritual maturity by competent and faithful members of the Student Ministry Team. Students also gain variety in a wide array of Adult speaker's sharing biblically-relevant messages each week during our gathering. Students also gain the opportunity for growth & transparency through adult-lead small groups following our weekly messages, further practicing the Investment = Impact approach.

Through Christ, The Grind seeks to develop and conduct 'cutting-edge' student ministry, developing missionally-minded students with the goal to impact the world for Christ from relational/community impact towards global potential for Christ.

Join us each week in the Student Wing at 6:00pm-7:30pm.
