LIFE 401 - Reaching My World

LIFE 401 - Reaching My World is Faith Community's own training for communicating our faith... inoffensively.

The apostle Paul probably said it best:  ...how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? (Romans 10:14)

The apostle Peter wrote in the same vein:  ...in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. (1 Peter 3:15, emphasis mine).

It's quite obvious biblically, there's no getting around it:  each and every Christian is responsible to share the gospel. But God doesn't expect us to be evangelists either! That is a spiritual gift set aside for those Christians the Holy Spirit determines will be evangelists.

For the rest of us, we are to communicate our faith and hope in Christ in a way that God has uniquely created us. We do not have to feel that we individually carry the full burden of leading our family, friends, neighbors, and associates all the way to the point of salvation.  "Reaching My World" teaches us another way!

"Reaching My World" is highly strategic in that we intentionally partner with other Christians to "link up our strengths and abilities" in order to lead people to Christ. Communicating our faith can be a team effort... but first we must be taught how to become a part of a team.

"Reaching My World" is specially designed to prepare God's followers to obediently communicate their faith--without fear, inoffensively, and in a style fitting exactly who God has uniquely made us! This course of study is the result of, literally, a life's work--a labor of love, that I have spent the better part of my adult life sorting through, using and teaching others with very effective results!

A fighter pilot named Mike from the Aircraft Carrier, USS Ranger (since then decommissioned), took a shorter version of this course... and lead ten shipmates to Christ during the period of a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific.

"Reaching My World" is a five-week course with ample time for discussion and role play.
